Architectural Design

  1. 01 | Schematic Concept Design

The first step in beginning this stage is that our architects will discuss the clients’ scope of the project, their goals, and the budget. All this information will then be developed into study drawings, documents or other media that illustrate the concepts of the design and include spatial relationships, scale and form for the client to review.

  2. 02 | Design Development

Design Development services use the initial design documents from the schematic phase and take them one step furhter. This phase lays out mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural and architectural details The level of detail provided in DD phase is determined by owner’s request and project equirements.

  3. 03 | Construction Documentation

Once the client and architect are satisfied with the documents produced during the DD phase, the architect moves forward and produces drawings with greater details. These will include specifications for construction details and materials. The level of detail in the CD phase may vary depending on the client’s preference.

  4. 04 | Construction Phase Supervision

During this stage, the core responsibility of the architect is to help the contractor to build the project as specified in the CDs as approved by the owner. Questions may arise on site that require the architect to develop architectural sketches: drawings issued after CD have been released that offer additional clarifications to finish the project.
