The brief for this 3-story residence is to have a contemporary theme building with using glass as one of the main materials. To make it look less commercial and glass box, we decided to include frames which changes in size, creating a pattern. For ventilation and to match with the frames on the glass façade, openable windows were designed as folding windows to create an awning which can protect rainwater and give shading when the window is being opened. The dark grey stone material emphasizes the double/triple void areas within the building which in turn matches with the dark grey slabs. The slab level slowly increases as it gets to the swimming pool area to have the pool at the highest level from original plinth level for achieving lake view over the mound.
